ICGP Catalunya

First race of the year not a bad start top of the podium for bloke.
After all the problems with practice and qualifing cant ask for more.


Timing slipted in practice, luckly only holed one piston and the bore was ok.

Race 2 was going well lead from lap 2, started to have problems with gear selection,stopped on lap 5, as the gear box had had enough, circlip came off the selector shaft and you can see the result.

This is a lovely looking Bimoto tz.

The ICGP racing was invition race for for the Masters Historic Racing Series, www.themastersseries.com , so we got to see and hear these beasts on full noise, nice.

1980 CB750 finished

Ready for the summer,had it's first run out to the testing station, ran like a dream, passed test with flying colours, all set for many 'smiles per miles'

This is the first one to be finished, cb750fa 1980, it should be all done by the end of march.

A couple of other 750 engines on show here, both are now built

Bike 2, engine is ready to go in once bike 1 has gone.

racing season is starting at last

This is VR racings Harris framed Yamaha tz350, first time testing for bloke to hopefully race in this years ICGP serie, www.icgpracing.com

The bikes you see at test days are great, this is a Vincent on honda running gear

Called in at a local tuning shop and they had this beast on the ramp for a little bit of tweeking, it used to run in the italian battle of the twins.

Bsb oulton park Harley Davidson support race

First round of the Harley Davidson trophy races, bloke was asked to ride in the series by Phil Jessop who is http://www.ridersmotorcycles.com/ qualified 4th, finished 2nd not a bad

wekkend away.

The bike waiting to go on the dyno, the top 3 and 3 random others are dyno'd and weighed, the bike came out with 89 bhp and topped the scales at 240kg, the others tested had between 93 and 95 bhp which with a bike this heavy is a big disadvantge this showed in the speed traps. Off to Mallory in 4 weeks for a double header, cant wait, not.

spa supermono

spa-francorchamps for the first race of 2010, entered the european supermono race with Mark Hannas suzuki moto450, sabina. Miss June in the Carole Nash 2010 calender.

The tunnel into the paddock is being repaired so we had to use the track to get in, can't beat track time even in the van, we did the caravan on the inside, lol.

Brand new carbon exhaust, lasted 5 laps.

Qualified 9th, didn't race after 4 hours in hospital hobbled out with a very sore back, oh well off to Oulton park next week for the Bsb support race with the Harley Davidson.

the ultimate supermono one of only 68 made by ducati, and this bloke has 2,nice.

this is a 916 with the rear cylinder removed to make it a mono.
