Round 4 of the Ducati 848, MONZA,


The day before we were racing it was an DRE, Ducati rider experience, day, the insructors rode the new 1198 and all the punters rode the 848's, instructors like Troy Bayliss

1st CB fininished and off to a Happy new home, it now lives near Richmond and how jealous am I of the perfect riding roads around its new home, I was scratching in the van.

back to back assen

At Assen for the second round of the 848s, we were part of the Dutch Ducati weekend, good weekend with a 4th in race one and a 2nd in race two, second in the championship.


Now this is a bike starter, its a ducati 996 engine

Back again, this time with the ICGP on the tz350 as a support race for the Dutch superbike series, this is the repaired engine case after the gears had had enough of being suck inside the caseings in Spain. Nothing else to report from Assen as all that went on were 4 engine failures,bugger, back to blighty for the next round of the 848s at Thruxton.

Brands Hatch Ducati 848

This is Alan Walkers Ducati 848 that he campaigned in last years 848 series, Bloke is ridding it in the first 2 races of the 2011 series, Alan will be ridding it in the rest of the series as he is getting a new evo bike built for bloke to ride. Excellent start to the series, second place in both races, off to Assen for the next round. www.ducati848challenge.co.uk

ICGP Catalunya

First race of the year not a bad start top of the podium for bloke.
After all the problems with practice and qualifing cant ask for more.


Timing slipted in practice, luckly only holed one piston and the bore was ok.

Race 2 was going well lead from lap 2, started to have problems with gear selection,stopped on lap 5, as the gear box had had enough, circlip came off the selector shaft and you can see the result.

This is a lovely looking Bimoto tz.

The ICGP racing was invition race for for the Masters Historic Racing Series, www.themastersseries.com , so we got to see and hear these beasts on full noise, nice.
